Now, more than ever, we're in need of peace. We believe that a peace concert, a film, or even a single piece of music, is a moment wherein we can de-escalate violence and conflict.
Which is why we're calling on you, your choir, or your friends to help us share the message of peace.
Anyone with a smartphone or camcorder can record and share a video of themselves singing the repertoire.
The song you'll be singing is 'Ukuthula', a South African peace hymn. You can listen to a recording and download the score here.
The end result will be a bold statement to anyone who will listen that moments of peace can be achieved through unity and song.
Even though the International Day of Peace is September 21st, there's no deadline on spreading our message of peace.

As a former music educator, she enjoys working primarily with performing arts and marching arts groups around Florida and the Southeast US. She also continues to perform as a vocalist and is a current member of the Festival Singers of Florida. "Regardless of the medium, I always strive to channel my energy into supporting and being part of organizations whose mission is to promote a more connected and meaningful life through creativity."
