The U.S. Embassy in Kenya opened in 1964. Sixteen Ambassadors since then, the Embassy has enriched the ties between the American and Kenyan people and served the needs of Americans in and around this East African hub. Chief among the U.S. Mission’s goals are fostering the development of a sound Kenyan economy, strengthening the institutions of Kenyan democracy, helping to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS, and promoting U.S./Kenyan business ties.

Founded in 1959, the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) is a nonprofit music-education organization whose expressed purposes outline the associations dedication to the advancement of choral music. Nairobi Chamber Chorus

Founded in October 2005 by Ken Wakia, the Nairobi Chamber Chorus (NCC) is the leading choral group in Kenya today. Its mission is to enable young Kenyans to participate in a high quality musical forum from which they can build their careers or expand their knowledge and interest in the arts. They have performed with world-renowned musicians including the Guildhall Orchestra, London Adventist Chorale, Cape Town Opera, Opera House, Voces8, Soweto String Quartet, Lady Smith Black Mambazo and the Festival Singers of Florida.
FESTIVAL SINGERS OF FLORIDA

This is a highly select, annually-auditioned choral ensemble consisting of women and men from throughout Florida and the Southeast. Their mission is to present choral music at the highest level of excellence and to provide an artistic outlet and promote musical growth for outstanding singers in the region. The Festival Singers of Florida is dedicated to expanding the awareness and appreciation of ensemble singing and the choral arts by providing community performances of the highest quality.

Bud is a multidisciplinary filmmaker and web designer specializing in film/web optimization and organic social media reach. Combining his fresh approach to documentary-style filmmaking and a passion for storytelling, he seeks to empower his audiences to take action. "It's my life's work to find and capture those stories that are oftentimes lost in the hustle and bustle of our daily grinds, and I believe that we can learn more about ourselves through trying to understand one another."
DESTINY GUERRA
Social media coordinator
Destiny does a little of everything, with a focus on photography, videography, and social media marketing. As a former music educator, she enjoys working primarily with performing arts and marching arts groups around Florida and the Southeast US. She also continues to perform as a vocalist and is a current member of the Festival Singers of Florida. "Regardless of the medium, I always strive to channel my energy into supporting and being part of organizations whose mission is to promote a more connected and meaningful life through creativity."
